How Does Voltarol Emulgel Work?

Voltarol is a medication that is used to relieve pain and inflammation. It belongs to a class of drugs called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). NSAIDs work by blocking the production of certain chemicals in the body that is responsible for pain and inflammation. Voltaren works by inhibiting the production of prostaglandins, which are chemicals that play a key role in pain and inflammation. Prostaglandins are produced by the body in response to injury or disease. They cause pain and inflammation by sensitizing nerve endings, promoting blood vessel dilation and inflammation. A decrease in the production of prostaglandins leads to a reduction in pain and inflammation.
