Description

How Does Scheriproct Ointment Work?

Scheriproct Ointment is a dual-action steroid drug. The ointment contains two active ingredients, prednisolone, and cinchocaine. Prednisolone is a Corticosteroid, which relieves pain and inflammation. It works by reducing the chemical action within the bodys cells that cause the skin to become red, itchy, and swollen. Cinchocaine is a local anesthetic that reduces pain and irritation caused by hemorrhoids. It works by blocking pain signals from reaching the brain. This produces a numbing effect on the area where Scheriproct ointment is applied.
