The prostate gland often enlarges with advancing age (benign prostatic hyperplasia), pressing on the urethra and obstructing urine flow from the bladder. This can cause various urinary symptoms, such as difficulty passing urine or urinating often. Combodart helps the muscle in the prostate to relax, which relieves pressure on the urethra and allows urine to flow freely past the prostate.

Description

Combodart is a combination medication containing dutasteride and tamsulosin. Dutasteride works by blocking the conversion of testosterone into a more potent form that contributes to prostate enlargement, thereby reducing the size of the prostate. Tamsulosin, on the other hand, relaxes the muscles in the prostate and bladder neck, easing urine flow and reducing BPH symptoms. Together, these two ingredients provide quicker and better relief for men with moderate to severe BPH symptoms, such as difficulty urinating, frequent urination, and the feeling of incomplete bladder emptying.

What Cimbodart Used For?

Combodart is used to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), which makes going for a wee difficult in men. Combodart is classified as an alpha receptor. It helps to relax and control the prostrate muscles so that men can have normal bladder function. Combodart helps relieve moderate to severe symptoms of BPH and reduce the risk of developing a complete inability to pass urine. When left untreated, the condition may require surgery.
