Head lice or nits are tiny parasitic insects that infest the scalp and hair, causing itching and discomfort. They are commonly found in the hair of children and families as they are picked up through head-to-head contact, as well as sharing combs, towels, and hats or hair accessories with an infected individual. Treatment involves using over-the-counter or prescription lice-killing shampoos and meticulous combing to remove nits (lice eggs). Preventive measures include avoiding head-to-head contact and sharing personal items. Please fill out the form below so that our clinicians can determine if the treatment will be suitable for you to take.
